Pierre Robichaud is a founding
Partner of Andrews Robichaud. He is
a Professional Engineer and an intellectual property
lawyer. He is also a Registered Trade-mark Agent. Pierre
uses his professional engineering and legal skills to
assist clients in the field of patent and trade-mark law
and to further help them to identify and advance their
knowledge-based business and legal issues and opportunities.
Pierre deals routinely with patent searches, drafting patent applications
and providing clients with patentability and infringement
opinions. He is also involved on a day to day basis
with the preparation and prosecution of trade-mark applications.
Pierre also has experience in opposition and expungement
proceedings before the Trade-marks Office, Trade-marks
Opposition Board, and in the Federal Court. He also
advises clients on copyright and industrial design matters,
including applications, registration and infringement.
Additionally, Pierre is involved in litigation involving
the protection and enforcement of intellectual property
and related rights, including the preparation of pleadings
and evidence, and the carriage of litigation from initial
filings through to court hearings and/or settlement.
Pierre is a member of the Professional Engineers of
Ontario, (PEO), the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC),
the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC),
the International Trademark Association (INTA), the
American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)
and the Association des Juristes de l'Expression Française
de l'Ontario (AJEFO). Pierre est fier d’offrir ses services
